PRESS REALEASE: Colorado Ag Services Announces Plans To Construct Bridgeport Ethanol Plant - Sterling Ethanol and Colorado Agricultural Services announced Friday plans to construct a forty to fifty million gallon ethanol plant on forty acres on the east edge of Bridgeport. Board President and General Manager Dave Kramer says the company plans to have the facility operational by the summer of 2008 Kramer says the project has been in development for a year and they have already taken steps, including applying for state air permit and a building contract, so construction can begin this summer. The company has already built a similar plant in Sterling, Colorado and has a plant that will open soon in Yuma, Colorado. Kramer says Northeastern Colorado and western Nebraska feedlots and farmers are investors in the project.
